Pure Lead Sheet for Cathode

Pure Lead or 6063-T6 aluminum can be used for Cathode in aluminum anodizing. We have been using a Lead cathode for several years with good success so we are now offering them. Lead can be left in the tank between batch and won’t influence the amount of dissolved aluminum in the anodizing tank. Please note that lead will add lead waste to your tank; check with your local law if you are authorized to handle lead and how to dispose it. Use caution and wear glove and eye protection when handling pure lead. These sheet are soft and easy to shape to your tank. We are also looking into offering 6063T6 cathode soon.

We have 2 size available;

1. The smaller model is sized for a 3:1 Anode to Cathode ratio using a 10 Amp Power Supply (up to 240 square inch @ 6 ASF)
2. The bigger model is sized for a 3:1 Anode to Cathode ratio using a 20 Amp Power Supply (up to 480 square inch @ 6 ASF)
