Cartridge Heater (110V/400W)

You can now install a permanent heater inside your dye, degreaser or sealer tank. These cartridge heater are made of 100% stainless steel so they will never rust. They are rated for 400W power output @ 110VAC. Combined with our Digital Temperature Controller, you can have your tank heat up and maintain the proper temperature for best dye absortion all by itself. Definitively one of the most requested product here on ASC!

The heater have a 1.5″ long “Cold Zone” on the threaded end. This cold zone is keeping the high temperature away from the threaded part and will prevent melting of your plastic bucket. The nut and o’ring is included; just drill a 17mm / 11/16″ hole about 1.5″~2″ from bottom of bucket and insert the cartridge.

We use these 400W heater inside our 18L dye tank. It takes 2hr to heat 18L from 18*C to 60*C (64*f to 140*f). The heating time will vary depending on room temperature, dye quantity and desired final temperature.

We have 4x of these in our sealing tank (1600W power total) and we get our 20L of sealer boiling in about 60 minutes.
